The Dreamcatcher | Vegetarian Bed + Breakfast
It started to storm shortly after we arrived, so we relaxed on the open terrace as the rain fell around us. We sat on hammocks and took in the beauty; specs of colors placed about, incense floating through the damp air and greenery lining the walkway from the entrance to the main courtyard. The storm that welcomed us made us feel like we were sitting in a rain forest and it was thrilling, every bit of beautiful.
There are communal kitchens with cooking utensils and spices to share. Every couple of rooms share a bathroom too. There's a local chef on site as well; since we were only there for one night we ventured out for dinner, but we heard lovely things about the food. The ocean was steps away. The rain left the sand damp, the water blue, a dusky haze on the beach and a lovely sunset. The Dreamcatcher was even more stunning at night, dew sat on the plants, lights twinkled in the courtyard and the coquí's sang us to sleep - it was magical.
The next morning we woke early to blue skies. A quick cup of coffee and a trip down to the beach, we spent a bit in the sun before heading back to shower and set off to our next destination.
Thank you The Dreamcatcher for sharing your city with us, for an unforgettable experience and the sweetest welcome to Puerto Rico, I'll never forget it.
