Photography by Michael Kilcullen on 35mm film
The road stating "no outlet" sparked my interest at the same time you read it aloud and turned down it. Our only hope was a painted sky at the end - the world delivered. No outlet, no turning back. There wasn't much to it, we just had some film to fire and wanted to play. I was a silhouette dancing for you and the last bit of daylight. My bare feet pressed against the cold concrete. I asked for a song, you sang to me my girl.
There's always a story behind film, the memories stay alive forever in the blended grain and light fade. I no longer have the urge to post photographs selling the product, instead I'm here to sell you the lifestyle of an adventurer. I want to encourage the afternoons spent with a friend, an analog camera and a road with no outlet.
